Two months!

We've officially hit the two month mark so with less then 60 days to go we have lots to accomplish. Its been hard to find time to do things because of Brian's and my conflicting work schedules but when Saturday finally rolls around we have a list a mile long to see how much we can cross off in one day (so much for a relaxing weekend right?) but none the less it is fun to be busy doing something that brings so much excitement and helps us get to know each other just a little bit more. Last Saturday we went the Verizon store to get on the same phone plan, both of us had previously gone to the store and looked online at which phone we were going to get so we were already to go when we got there. Everything went great, except the next day i changed my mind and went and exchanged my phone and then the day after that he did the same, so i learned that we have a hard time making up our minds but it was definitely an adventure going back every time and fun to see Brian and i get so excited about our phones we actually had a phone date :) Last night my mom was altering my wedding dress and as i was wearing it i was burning up, the dress is like a sauna, anyway i am so glad i am getting married when it will still be cold out or else i would be sweating the whole time!
As well as getting new phones we also picked out the wedding bands and ordered those, we finished about a third of the invitations, finished the guest list, registered at two stores (boy that took forever!) and fell even more in love, cheesy i know but so true! As for this Saturday we get to do even more starting with retaking engagement photos and trying to find a nice area with cheap apartments for somewhere to live! Finding a place to live has been a rather hassle. Brian is very stubborn and insists that we live in a good neighborhood because he wants me safe when he works the night shift, i couldn't be more grateful to have someone that cares and looks out for me so well, but it does make things more difficult. I am sure we will find something though.
Aside from all the planning and frantically trying to get things done i always can just step back and look at the eternal perspective of things and i am constantly reminded of how blessed i am to be able to be sealed to Brian for time and all eternity and how wonderful that is. That thought always brings me so much peace and happiness. Brian and i started taking our temple prep classes about two weeks ago and we enjoy having that reminder of the temple and the wonderful blessings it entails. We are so grateful for our wonderful friends who take the time to teach us one on one all about the temple. Along with temple prep i am also going to the marriage and family relations class at church which has already been a blessing to us.
I can not say enough how blessed i feel to have met such a wonderful young man that is willing to love and embrace me for who i am and all my flaws and take me to the temple to be sealed together for eternity. I truly am so happy and thankful for the gospel and all the joy it brings.

A picture is worth a thousand words...

Finally got the belated engagement photos taken! it was fun to try and capture some personality into all of them and figure out what we did and didnt like. If any of you know Brian even in the least you will know that him wearing a shirt is a very rare occasion, so that may explain why we took some of the ones we did (of course just for fun). It was a blast and i think we've found the one that we are going to use.

Plans plans plans... did i mention plans?

And the count down has begun! only 70 more days till the wedding! its coming so fast but at the same time it feels like it will never be here! There is so much planning to be done it but it just adds to the excitement and fun. If any one has any cool decoration ideas they would be very welcome =). But as for now we have a couple options as for what to do for the center pieces and we also got the awesome idea of making tissue paper flower balls and hanging them from the ceiling to make the room feel smaller from Brian's sister Mary! We are taking engagement photos tomorrow in down town Boise thanks to Mary i am sure they will be wonderful! The planning has been so fun for me, Brian is always so sweet and offers to help whenever possible and always gives me the best advice and support through it all. (how did i get so lucky?). As for the invitations, what happened to the good old days when making things was cheaper than buying? Apparently there long gone but it still has been so fun getting to make and design my own invites so i am still very glad i chose to do this! Thank you so much to everyone who has offered to help i really appreciate the support! Here are some pictures of wedding stuff let me know what you think...

Like father in-law like son in-law

For Christmas Brian desperately needed a new stereo for his car but i had him convinced that there was no way i was going to get it for him, although secretly i had already got it. I went on sooo excited that he was going to love his new Christmas present and trying my best to contain myself from spilling the beans. Well christmas day came and he was totally shocked and so excited when he opened it! (yea i did a good job, or so i thought) well... my dad was supposed to be the one to install it but little did we all know that it would be so difficult! Both Brian's (my dads name is Brian as well) were in the garage all night long to now not only have a lame stereo but no stereo at all! yikes! and i am all to blame. however on the positive side i think it may have helped with the bonding of in-laws ;)

our first christmas

Brian and i had the best Christmas and were so excited about our totally awesome new MAGIC BULLET! A must for everyone out there that enjoys food, (which who doesn't right?). We planned to wait till we were married to use it but just couldn't hold in the excitement any longer and we gave in and boy was it worth it!

New Chapter

I like to view life like a fairy tale book, we have our trials and hardships, but in the end we can all live our own happily ever afters. I am about to start the next big chapter in my life, in less then three months i am going to be married. So as i jump into this chapter at full speed i plan to keep it all documented on here as best i can so i can share my wonderful life with all my friends and family. So here i go....
